Seventeen service members nominated to the 99th Assembly District's Veterans Hall of Fame
Washingtonville. Local governments made the nominations to Assemblyman Colin Schmitt.

Assemblyman Colin Schmitt this week announced the inaugural 99th Assembly District's Veterans Hall of Fame nominees.
These nominees will be formally honored at Schmitt’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to be held on Monday, Nov. 18, at the Orange County Emergency Services Auditorium in Goshen at 6:30 p.m.
This official State Assembly government event will recognize Veterans from across the 99th Assembly District who have served the country and deserve the honors. Local governing boards and leaders in the 99th Assembly District had the ability to nominate one Veteran that truly stands out to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Following the ceremony an official traveling wall of honor featuring these nominees will travel the district and be displayed at public places to recognize our local heroes and their achievements.

Chester (Town): Thomas Simmons, USMC
Chester (VIllage): Edward Joseph Szulwach, U.S. Navy
Cornwall (Town): Daniel Clarino, USMC
Goshen (Town): Richard Grabowski, U.S. Army
Goshen (Village): Joseph Donovan, U.S. Army
Hamptonburgh: Carl Crist, U.S. Navy
Highlands: John Joseph Flynn, U.S. Army
Highland Falls: Joseph Gregory Lowrey, U.S. Army
New Windsor: George Rielly, USMC
South Blooming Grove: James Mullaney, U.S. Army
Stony Point: Alan Dagistino, U.S. Army
Washingtonville: David Pritchard, U.S. Air Force
Wawayanda: Alfred Pierce, U.S. Army
Woodbury (Town): William Doyle, U.S. Army
Woodbury (Village): Kenneth Smith, U.S. Army
