John W. Blaine

John W. Blaine, loving son, brother, grandson and friend, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, in Wappingers Falls. He was 28 years old.
Son of Patrick C. Blaine and Lynne Sterns Blaine, he was born Sept. 3, 1988, in Suffern.
John was a journeyman with International Ironworkers Local #580 out of Manhattan.
Survivors include his loving parents, Patrick C. and Lynne Blaine of Washingtonville, his brother Patrick J. Blaine of Manhattan, his maternal grandparents, Marilyn and James Sterns, and numerous, beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Patrick G. and Veronica Blaine.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, at St. Mary’s Church, 42 Goshen Ave., Washingtonville.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
His family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made in John’s memory to St. Christopher's Inn, 21 Franciscan Way, P.O. Box 150, Garrison, NY 10524.
