Spooky pooches invade Crane Park

Get your "Spooky Pooch" on and join Monroe Free Library for a doggone good time on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 am. to 2 p.m., at Crane Park.

Pet-themed vendors will offer yummy treats and market their supplies. Or schedule your four-leggedfriend's next grooming session.
The “Walk + Wag” events feature three costumed parade sessions for small, medium and large breeds. All dogs must be leashed.
In between parades, the dogs can meet and play in a temporary corral.
Guest celebrity doggie appearances will happen with Simba, the Monroe Police Dog, and Rocket, the Service Dog, a frequent visitor at the library’s children’s reading sessions.
Pets Alive Animal Sanctuary of Middletown brings some of its adoptable rescued animals looking for homes.
The deadline to register your dog or sign up for a vendor table is Oct. 18.
The dog registration fee is $10 per dog and the vendor fee is $25 per table. Cash or checks payable to Monroe Free Library will be accepted.
