There are more important issues than 'the whereabouts of one Mr. Rivera'

As a resident of the Monroe-Woodbury School District, I have been following the stories of School Board member Ray Rivera. Mr. Rivera was elected into office, by the community, two years ago. Although he missed a few meetings does not mean he is neglecting his responsibilities. If he misses three consecutive meetings, and he has not resigned, then I think the Board of Education should take proper and legal action. I think it is time to put this story to rest and report on more important issues of the school district such as the students. Reporting on the education of our students is more important than discussing the whereabouts of one Mr. Rivera. RJ Katz Monroe
