Susan Fries-Ciriello announces her candidacy for Woodbury Town Board

My name is Susan Fries-Ciriello and I am proud to announce my candidacy for Woodbury’s Town Council.

I live in Woodbury with my husband and two children.

My BBA in Accounting, along with passing the NYS CPA exam, MBA in Business Management and 18 years of experience uniquely qualifies me to serve on the Town Council.

As a resident, I’ve taken pleasure in giving back by volunteering at Monroe Woodbury Schools as PTA Treasurer and President, Secretary of Music Boosters, President of the MS Drama Booster and member of both the MS and HS PTA.

In addition, I have taken a lead role in addressing issues within Woodbury Junction, and I have worked directly with then Assemblyman Skoufis to write legislation that became law in October 2017 to protect HOA members.

If elected, I will restore a solid working relationship with the Village, as I firmly believe the two must work together to strengthen Woodbury.

I promise to provide honest, transparent government by including you, the residents, our most knowledgeable and valuable resource. I will work to improve communication, listen to concerns, and engage in respectful dialog.

Finally, I will use my accounting and management background to cut costs, improve efficiency, and find new ideas to promote local small businesses.

I am proud to be a member of the Woodbury community and I would be honored to have your vote for Town Council and for my running mates, David Sutz for Town Supervisor and Patrick Rafferty for Town Councilman on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.
