‘Larkin has done good for Harriman’

Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax once said: “The game has a cleanness. If you do a good job, the numbers say so. You don’t have to ask anyone or play politics. You don’t have to wait for the reviews.”

Reading this, we immediately thought of Senator Bill Larkin.

We don’t have to wait for any reviews. The numbers have already spoken.

Just ask any volunteer firefighter how many dollars Senator Larkin has provided over the years for needed equipment that protect our homes and businesses.

Just ask our veterans, who Senator Larkin has championed for years.

Just ask our Senior Citizens, who Senator Larkin has protected with legislation and funding.

Just ask local elected officials who Senator Larkin has provided funding, local assistance, and local mandate relief.

Actually, just examine the many things Senator Larkin has done for you:

    • Voted to eliminate the job-killing MTA tax.

    • Voted for a middle class tax cut.

    • Voted no new taxes.

    • Voted to cut state sales tax on clothing up to $110.

The reviews are right in front of us and they’re not “politics.” Senator Larkin’s “numbers” confirm the good job he’s always done for all of us.

Let’s continue to have him on our team, fighting to create jobs and reduce taxes for all us.

We know Senator Bill Larkin has always done a good job for Harriman; he’s an important player to have on our team.

    Respectfully,

Village of Harriman Mayor Stephen Welle, Deputy Mayor Edward B. Shuart Jr.
