In support of Rob Furbeck for Monroe town justice

The voters in Monroe have a unique opportunity this Election Day to vote for a local man that has the temperament, experience and integrity to serve as the Monroe Town Justice. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the Furbeck family for more than thirty five years, I became fast friends with his dad, Bruce, when I was opening my automotive repair shop in 1980 and he was running Bruce’s Gulf. Rob worked for his Dad and would often tow cars to my shop where he met my niece Michelle; they are currently married and have a wonderful daughter.
Rob's passion from early on was police work with an eye toward the New York State troopers. He was able to achieve that goal and had a long career serving for many years in the Monroe barracks, as well as other assignments. I wonder if there is any better experience for a town justice than serving in law enforcement. I don’t think so; serving in law enforcement not only gives you knowledge of the law but human nature as well. Both are essential to be an effective justice.
I urge the voters of Monroe to take this opportunity to vote for Rob Furbeck and allow him to continue to serve the people of Monroe as he’s done for many years in law enforcement and fire fighting. You would be hard pressed to find a better person for the job.
    Sincerely,
    Bob Dowie
