Guilaine Leger-Vargas and Clara Munoz-Feliciano will be advocates for the community
I am writing this letter of support for Guilaine Leger-Vargas and for Clara Munoz-Feliciano for positions on the Monroe-Woodbury School Board.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Guilaine for eight years now. During the years of our acquaintance, I have known Guilaine in many capacities.
Guilaine is a mother, friend, advocate and voice for the special education families in the community. Guilaine felt it was time to run to make the necessary positive changes many families in district are seeking but not getting with the current board.
She has been my friend and we met because she came out to join our group to support the special people of the community. She is dedicated to our group and continues to advocate for her child and all children, with the hopes of brightening their futures.
On May 15th, we will have the opportunity to elect a woman who has the passion and commitment to advocate for the students while carrying out responsibilities of board member. She is a team player and with work with students, staff, and families without judgments. We need a person on the board families can turn to fairness and equal treatment. This person is Guilaine Leger-Vargas.
Guilaine is a devoted mother and loves her family and her community. Because she supports positive changes for the district, not only in words and action, she will deserve the opportunity to serve the community
I also write in support for Clara Munoz-Feliciano. Clara is my friend and I have known her for the past six years. Clara is an active member of the community and dedicated to making changes that will benefit all. She demonstrates leadership and encourages change. She devotes her time when she sees a need for change. She advocates for the Special Education community and supports programs that will benefit the children and people of the community.
Given the opportunity, Clara can demonstrate her passion and commitment to the necessary changes the Monroe Woodbury Board needs at this time. She is a Team player, self-starter and with work with students, staff, and families both personally and professionally.
We need a person on the Monroe Board families can trust to make decisions not based on personal judgments but offer decisions based on fairness and equal outcomes for all.
