'Are any elected officials of any party really looking out their constituents?'

The Federal government has done it again. They have raised your Social Security benefit by 2.0 percent and then raised the Medicare deduction by about 20 percent so that the amount you receive this year is the same as last year.
They is the second year in a row that the bottom line you receive is no actual increase in your Social Security check.
The first was done when the Democrats were in control.
Now the Republicans are doing to us. Not only that, what you receive is subject to income taxes again after you paid taxes on what you contributed to the program.
Are any elected officials of any party really looking out their constituents?
