'World Thinking Day'

The Woodbury Girl Scout Community held its annual “World Thinking Day” last Saturday and Daisy Troop 606, based at Smith Clove Elementary School, was among the many troops attending. Since it was the troop’s first-ever event, Cadette Troop 305 served as their mentors, explaining what the event is all about and getting them prepared for next year, when they will select a country, create a display, make “SWAPs” and prepare a sample food for others to taste test. Troop 606 members are, from the left: Olivia Shippe, Bridget Sweikert, Erika DiMura, Colleen Gilligan, Emily Alonso, Maddy Bendix, Kacie Burke and Morgan Yap. In total, more than 200 girls participated.
