MONROE-Police continued their efforts Thursday to locate Robert G. Elliott in New York City and upstate near Utica as well as in New Jersey, Virginia and South Carolina because he was the last person to see Suzanne Timmoney alive, Monroe Police said. Timmoney, 45, was found dead Tuesday night in her apartment at 11 Ash St. in the Village of Monroe. Police have not disclosed how the mother of three died. Elliott, 56, had been living with Timmoney. "He was the last person to see her alive," said Monroe Police Det. James Frankild. The detective would only say that Elliott was a "person of interest" in the case. Last September, Elliott was charged with assaulting Timmoney in their apartment. Police are looking for him in locales where he may have relatives or friends. According to a report in the Times Herald-Record, Elliott served 14 years in prison for beating a woman to death.
