Vaccaro will ‘work hard for you'

To the editor: I am writing to show my enthusiastic support for Alicia Vaccaro, the Democratic endorsed candidate for Town Supervisor. I have known Alicia for many years and in that time have realized what an honest, dedicated and hardworking person she is. I know that she has been employed as a civil engineer for many years, and while she has taken the last six years to raise her growing family, she has not sat idly by. Alicia has remained active by providing consulting services from her home, she has joined the Planning Board where she has used her engineering experience to make recommendations to the Town Board for positive change. And recently, she participated in revising the Town's Master Plan. Her many recommendations and insights were an integral part of creating a vision of Monroe that will protect open space, protect our natural resources such as wetlands and scenic vistas, provide for animal habitat and providing services that we all want and need (parks, recreation, etc.). Alicia's dedication to the community and our youth is evident - she is a strong advocate of the library and very involved in Scouting. She believes that the opportunities must be there for our young girls as well as our young boys. Please join me in supporting Alicia Vaccaro; vote Vaccaro in the Democratic Primary on Sept. 13.
