On a cloudy Saturday afternoon, Oct. 10, the Crusaders met the Syosset High School Braves from Long Island in a mid-season scrimmage at the Hudson Sports Complex in Warwick.

One of the ways they help the athletics prepare for the playoffs each year is by scheduling a very competitive non-league schedule for the Crusaders.
The team appears to peaking at just the right time as they handled a very good Braves in Warwick on Saturday.
But this week’s schedule will give a good indication of how the Section playoffs will line up as the Crusaders host Warwick on Wednesday and then travel to Valley Central on Friday.
With a healthy club the Crusaders look like they can match up with any team in the state as the regular season runs down and the playoffs loom just around the corner.
