Four-year starter Elaina Wood anchored a Crusader defense that posted six shutouts this season. Wood started as a defensive rusher and has recorded 208 flag pulls (tackles) and 33 sacks over the last three years. Her speed and ability to make diving tackles have have made her one of Section’s 9 outstanding defensive players over last four seasons.

The Crusaders have posted a 48-17 record with one Section 9 Title in their four years of existence under the guidance of Head Coach Elaine Schellberg. They will look to make another run into the playoffs next season with their commitment to move this sport forward.
