THIELLS — Last Friday afternoon, the much anticipated match up between the Crusaders of Monroe-Woodbury and the Raiders of North Rockland took place at North Rockland High School.
This is the first time these two teams have met since last year's state quarter finale match which the Raiders won 3-1.
In a hard fought defense struggle, the Crusaders' attempt at revenge fell short with the Raiders scoring the lone goal of the contest with about five minutes to play.
The Varsity Girls Soccer team is now 4 and 1 on the season.
