MW Lightning complete season in second place with 12-2 record

MONROE The U8 MW Lightning finished its first season in the Paramus, N.J.-based Professional Baseball League in second place with a record of 12-2.
The highlight of the season was a win over previously undefeated Pearl River Yankees.
These same two teams would eventually meet in the league championship game on July 30 in Pearl River, a game that the Lightning lost.
Members of the team are: Will Tomasini, Jack Alley, Thomas Rogers, Ethan Acevedo, Dylan Palmieri, Sean Metcalf, Kavan Tuttle, Peyton Jemison, Owen White and A.J. Zollo.
They are coached by Kevin Metcalf, Michael Tuttle and Anthony Zollo.
