Lightning captures the Columbus Day Tournament

CENTRAL VALLEY — The MWUSC Lightning U-11 Boys team captured first place in their home tournament.
The Lightning went undefeated in four games by beating teams from New Jersey and Connecticut.
They were commanding in the championship game in beating JPSC by a score of 6-1.
Siddhi Ranganathan was named MVP of the offense while Pravin Jegan, Sean Gilligan, and Nate Johnston were instrumental in shutting down the opponents offense.
Marcin Kluz was the high goal scorer followed by Marco Wasto and Ryan Dove.
This is the Lightning's fourth straight tournament where they finished in first place.
