Kenny Fee named M-W’s ‘Athlete of the Week’

CENTRAL VALLEY — Kenny Fee, a key member of the Monroe-Woodbury Varsity Football team coached by Bernie Connolly, has been named the high school’s “Athlete of the Week” for the period ending Oct.
Kenny, a senior, is a team captain, a defensive end and tight end and is the only player to start on both sides of the ball for the Crusaders.
“This past weekend at Monroe-Woodbury’s Homecoming game against Kingston, Kenny had six tackles, including three quarterback sacks,” Athletic Director Ron Montalto said in his press release announcing his selection. “Off the field, Kenny is a tremendous student, carrying a 99-plus average with a heavy college course load.
