    — Daniel Hynes, a member of the Monroe-Woodbury Boys Varsity Cross Country Team coached by James Glover, is the high school's "Athlete of the Week" for the period ending Nov. 3.
"Danny has been consistently improving all season," Glover said in the press release from Athletic Director Lori Hock's office. "He was instrumental in Monroe-Woodbury winning the OCIAA championship meet last Friday.
"Danny has battled back from a foot injury that caused him to miss last year’s cross country meet," the coach added. "In addition to his accolades in running, Danny is also an honor student carrying a 94 GPA. Congratulations, Danny. We are very proud of your accomplishments as a student athlete."
