Hoovler named DA of the Year

Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler recently received the 2025 District Attorney of the Year Award.

The recognition was given by the New York City-based Civil Aid Services, a non-profit organization that assists governmental agencies in cases of natural disaster, provides emergency aid to the needy, provides for community safety, and other community-related services.

“I know the strength of our community lies not only in the fortitude of our leaders, but in the commitment we have to each other as neighbors,” Hoovler said. “Vital non-profit organizations such as the Civil Aid Services provide critical support to the public in times of need. To be recognized by this organization is an honor and one that I am proud to receive on behalf of the people of Orange County.”
