O&R offers small businesses free energy efficiency program

Pearl River - Orange and Rockland Utilities (O&R) is currently offering a free on-site energy efficiency survey for small businesses in New York with an average peak demand of 100kw or less. The object is to help businesses reduce the energy used for lighting, cooking and heating. In addition the company will offer free energy upgrades such as compact fluorescent lamps, low-flow aerators, and high-pressure rinse sprayers. And O&R will pay 70 per cent of the installed equipment costs. There is no waiting for rebates. Projects scheduled at your convenience may include high efficiency lighting, ballasts and fixtures, heating, ventilation and cooling-system tune-up, refrigeration upgrades and more.
