Aug. 22 Roy Maurer, 49, who is homeless, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor, and released pending a future court appearance. Aug. 23 Jared George, 22, of Central Valley, was charged with two counts of second-degree forgery, two counts of second-degree attempted forgery, three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, felonies, and three counts of petty larceny, a misdemeanor. He was sent to Orange County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bond. Aug. 29 Jacqueline Margillo, 45, of Harriman, was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She was released pending a future court appearance.
