Monroe teen remains hospitalized after two-car collision on April 14

Monroe - Cory Keenan, one of three Monroe boys injured in a two-car collision on Niniger Road last Friday remains in Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where he is being treated for internal injuries and a compound fracture to his left leg, according to State Trooper Joseph Mitchell. The boys had to be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters. A 16-year old passenger, Luke Cevoli, was also airlifted to Valhalla where he was treated for head injuries. He has since been released. Sean Gilhooly, 17, suffered internal injuries and a compound fracture to his left leg. He has since been released from the Arden Hill campus of Orange Regional Medical Center in Goshen. Keenan, 17, was driving a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta when Concetta Repetti, 37, of Monroe, traveling west crossed into Keenan’s lane. She told police that her vehicle, a 2002 Jeep Liberty, hydroplaned after going around a bend. The woman, who complained of knee pain, was taken to the hospital in Goshen. Mitchell said no tickets have been issued.
