Young Life. Sacred Heart-St. Patrick’s Youth Group embraces adventure, service this summer

Sacred Heart-St. Patrick’s Youth Group has been having an adventurous summer.

On June 20, the group hiked up one side of Bear Mountain and Fr. Paul Ajong (the Youth Group Chaplain) offered Mass close to the top of the mountain.

The last week of June many of the teens volunteered their time at Vacation Bible school at Sacred Heart.

More recently, the group hosted St. Mary’s/St. Columba’s youth group for games, s’mores and a spiritual talk around the bonfire and have accepted an invitation to a “Rec and Pizza” night in Washingtonville in return.

Future summer plans include attending youth day at Marycrest convent in Monroe and having a swimming day at The Rez.
