Wireless Icon Verizon store celebrates a decade

MONROE — Last month, the Wireless Icon Verizon Wireless store celebrated 10 years at its Larkin Drive location in Monroe.

Members of the Monroe and Woodbury Chambers of Commerce attended a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the milestone.

Also to celebrate the anniversary, the owners have remodeled the store.

"We would like to thank the whole local community for all their support over the years," said Nini Kaur, owner of the store. Kaur has been the owner of this store from the beginning. "We have grown over the years in Orange County, and that could have not been possible without the local community support."

Kaur said she strives to keep up with the new technology and offers great products to her customers.

"We have the largest selection of accessories, smartphones, tablets and more," she added. "Our professional and knowledgeable staff is here to service all your needs for cell phones, tablets, mobile broadband and more."

She also offers free workshops so her customers can learn how to use the products they purchase.
