Tuxedo man dies in Greenwood lake drowning

GREENWOOD LAKE — A 23-year-old Tuxedo Park man drowned after jumping into 40-feet deep waters in Greenwood Lake on Saturday.
Chod Berry, formerly of Georgia, jumped off a boat at about 2:40 p.m. and attempted to swim to the east shore of Greenwood Lake, Greenwood Park police said.
The Greenwood Lake Dive Team responded to Edgemere Avenue and East Shore Road and recovered his body at about 3:37 p.m. about 90 feet from the shore.
Also responding to the scene was the Greenwood Lake Police Department, Navigation Patrol and Dive Team, the Greenwood Lake Fire Department, the Greenwood Lake Ambulance Corp. and the Warwick Police Department.
