Treats for troopers

Representatives of the MOMs Club of Monroe recently visited the New York State Trooper barracks in Monroe with homemade cookies to thank the troopers for their work to protect the community. This year marks the 10th year that the group has been thanking these first-responders for the work they do. Club officials also said it’s a way to get the kids involved with something they could understand, have fun doing and feel good about giving when they were little. Gathering with Trooper Michael Glassey are Shawn Serringer, left, Kevin Serringer, Michael Serringer and Chris Serringer.
