MONROE — The Village of Monroe’s free “Music by the Millponds” summer concert series begins Saturday, June 15, and will be held at Lake Street between the Millponds at Crane Park - the same park but different location from last year - from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The local rock band, The Roost, will kickoff the season.
Band member Ronnie Mutone is the owner of Stillpond Massage in the Village of Monroe. The Roost performs soulful rock and roll original songs, including the Stones, the Kinks and the Beatles.

There will be inflatables for the children to jump around for $5 for unlimited use. Vendors from the local community will have food and refreshments available for purchase.
Additional concert dates are June 29, July 27, Aug. 10 and 24.
