Monroe Police lending Santa a hand

The Monroe Police Department is accepting new, unwrapped gifts at Monroe Police Headquarters on Stage Road up until Saturday, Dec. 22. Until then, officers are storing the many toys and gifts already donated in Santa’s supply center, located on the second floor of the police department. Pictured in the supply center, from left to right, are: Officer Dave Lee, Detective Doug Krauss and Officer Steve Dunn, who are overseeing the toy drive this year. Officers will begin distributing gifts to people in need on Dec. 22 right up until Christmas Eve two days later. Anyone with questions about the toy drive may call Monroe Police at 782-8644.
