Jubilate Choir to perform at Carnegie Hall this Sunday, Nov. 19

WARWICK — Jubilate (pronounced yoo-bih-LAH-tey) is a co-ed choir of 55 young singers in grades five through twelve which meets at Christ Church in Warwick.
The choir will perform in "The Suite Sounds of Christmas," to be held this Sunday, Nov. 19, at 8:30 p.m. in Carnegie Hall.
Choir members come from communities throughout the lower Hudson Valley. And Jubilate has had the distinction of performing previously at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, St. John the Divine and Temple University, as well as many local venues.
Last season Jubilate competed in the Music in the Parks Program and was awarded first-place for all divisions they competed in.
The Carnegie Hall concert will feature multi-cultural Christmas music performed by a number of different choruses from across the country, which will sing some pieces together and some individually.
