Dr. Kramer Jakubek

On May 18, Kramer A. Jakubek of Monroe received his degree as a doctor of physical therapy during the 118 Commencement of Ithaca College. A graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School, Kramer was selected both the Section 9 Scholar Athlete of the Year in Feb. 2007 and the New York State Public Schools Scholar Athlete of the Year March 2007. At Ithaca College he graduated cum laude in 2011 with a bachelor of science degree in clinical health studies, was placed on the dean’s list 2008-11 and inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma April 2011. He was a member of the New York State All-State Academic team from 2009-11 and was selected the captain of Ithaca’s men’s swimming and diving team in 2010 as they went on to win the ECAC Men’s swimming and diving championship. He currently ranks 14 all-time in the 100-yard breaststroke. In track and field, he was selected to the Empire 8 President’s List in 2008 and his high jump of 6’7” ranks among the highest in school history. Kramer is currently finishing his studies at the Professional Orthopedics and Sports Physical Therapy Center located in Garden City.
