• M-W school buses travel approximately 8,555 miles per day; that’s about 1.5 million miles each school year.
• Five staff members from the bus garage had perfect attendance, which earned them reserved, front row parking spaces for the entire school year.
Food Services• The districts serves more 3,200 breakfast and lunch meals daily. Last year, the district served more than 550,000 school meals.
• Approximately 70 percent of all student breakfast meals served are free eligible students. To that point, more than 1 in 4 students in Monroe-Woodbury School District qualify for free or reduced price meals.
• Top three food choices: In no particular order: mozzarella sticks, chicken (in most any shape), and French toast stick breakfast for lunch.
