St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Vice President of Advancement and Government Affairs Sue Sullivan, third from right, and JetBlue’s Ric Firpo, left, Monica Pennings, Jeff Fountain and Paul Parawan gather during JetBlue’s presentation of handcrafted quilts from JetBlue Airways and Soaringwords, an organization dedicated to inspiring perseverance in chronically ill children and their families. Each quilt contains painted or embroidered inspirational messages and fun drawings to cheer and encourage young patients created by local JetBlue crew members. “We’re proud to be a part of a community that has access to world-class technology and services that are delivered in a warm and comforting setting,” said Pennings, JetBlue’s community relations liaison at Stewart Airport.
