Middletown — Inspire will hold its annual signature fundraiser, the Shining Stars Celebration, on Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Middletown Elks Lodge beginning at 6 p.m. This year Mary Lee Berry and Alan and Irving Zuckerman will be honored. Berry, a long time board member and volunteer, will receive the Outstanding Service to People with Disabilities Award. Alan & Irving Zuckerman of the Monroe-based Verticon, Ltd., will receive the Exemplary Community Service to Orange County Award, in honor of their ongoing support of not only Inspire, but also many other non-profit organizations in the area. Sponsorships and journal advertising opportunities are still available. Money raised will be invested in Inspire’s long-term endowment fund to ensure availability of programs and services for people with disabilities. For reservations or additional information please contact Elizabeth Rowley at 294-7300 or email to erowley@inspirecp.org.
