Harriman student inducted into national communications honor society at Quinnipiac

    HAMDEN, Conn. - Vincent Dapolito of Harriman, a student at Quinnipiac University, was inducted into the Tau Delta Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association Honor Society, during a recent ceremony at Quinnipiac. To be inducted, communications students must have a minimum overall grade point average of 3.25 and a minimum communications studies grade point average of 3.25. They must also complete at least 60 credits, three communications courses and achieve junior standing. Founded in 1985, Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, encourages, and rewards outstanding undergraduate scholarship in communication studies. Lambda Pi Eta promotes and encourages career development in the communication field and establishes relationships between students and faculty. Membership is granted to students who achieve excellence in scholarship and academic standing.
