From Woodbury to the Bayou
| 21 Feb 2012 | 11:10
Woodbury Girl Scout Troop 484 participated in Woodbury Day to earn money for the Bayou Girl Scout Council in Louisiana to purchase new vests and replace the well earned badges for girls who lost them due to flooding after Hurricane Katrina. The girls in Troop 484, along with their parents, purchased fleece and made the scarves. All supplies were donated by the families, so that all the proceeds would go toward the vests. So far a total of $170 has been earned. If you would be interested in purchasing a scarf ($5 each), please contact MaryLynne Malone, Woodbury Girl Scouts Unit Manager, at malone@highlands.com.
