HIGHLAND MILLS - The Friends of the Favia Family fund-raiser will be held tonight, Friday, Aug. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Earl Reservoir in Highland Mills. The event will feature MC Earl and DJ Pearl with music by Erol Ogut, a light dinner, arts and crafts and a clown to entertain children as well as a 50/50 raffle and tricky trays. Anthony Favia, the Highland Mills man who suffered critical injuries in a July 4 motorcycle accident on the section of Route 17 West known as the Wurtsboro Mountain, has been home for almost three weeks. Part of his right leg was severed in the accident. The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department is donating the use of its facilities, but Woodbury residency is not required to attend the event, according to organizers. The suggested donation is $15 for adults and $5 per child. Donations will continue to be accepted by mailing them to a post office box set up by organizers: The Friends of the Favia Family, P.O. Box 634, Highland Mills, N.Y. 10930. - Nancy Kriz
