Central Valley - The Monroe-Woodbury football Crusaders carried the lead banner for the annual 2.8-mile “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk on Sunday, Oct. 17, throughout the Woodbury Commons Premium Outlet Center. The team wore pink socks during the October games, honoring those fighting, those in remission and loved ones who lost their fight to this disease. A donation was made to the American Cancer Society on behalf of the Monroe Woodbury Parent Football Club. Many “thanks” to the cheerleaders who also attended this event. They wore pink ribbons in their hair at each game in October.
