Graduations Ashley Mesler, the daughter of Steven and Debra Mesler of Monroe, graduated with a major in therapeutic recreation from Ithaca Colleges School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. The degree was awarded in December 2011.
Alyssa Kaufer of Monroe has been named to the deans list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Cortland. A 2008 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School, Alyssa has completed her bachelors degree in speech and hearing science and plans to pursue a graduate degree this coming fall.
Deans list William Mullooly of Central Valley has been named to the deans list for the fall 2011 semester at Springfield College in Massachusetts. A students grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be on the deans list at Springfield College.
William is a 2008 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury and is studying business management with a concentration in marketing and a minor in economics. He is the son of Carol and William Mullooly.
Lauren Martin of Monroe has been named to the deans list for the fall 2011 semester at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont for academic achievements and achieving a semester grad point average of 3.5 or more.
Lauren is majoring in international business.
Jessica Gregory of Monroe made the deans list for the fall 2011 semester at DePaul University in Chicago. To qualify, students must earn above a 3.0 grade point average on a four point scale.
Kara Alberse of Highland Mills was named to the deans list for the fall 2011 semester at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. To be, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C.
Antonia M. Urciuoli of Harriman earned part-time honors for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Canton. Part-time honors are awarded to students earning at least a 3.25 GPA on 6 to 11 credit hours.
Antonia is a bachelor of science in nursing major and a 1987 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School.
Rebecca L. Vitelli of Monroe has been named to the deans list in the Honors Program at the University of Delaware for the fall 2011 semester. Rebecca is enrolled in the College of Education and Human Development and is majoring in early childhood education.
Ryan Staudle of Highland Mills has been named to the deans list for the fall 2011 semester at Hartwick College in Oneonta. Inclusion on dean list is an indication of excellent academic work, including the completion of a full course load with at least a 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
Ryan, the son of Alana and Daniel Staudle, is a first-year student majoring in psychology.
