Chester 9/11 remembrance begins at 9:30 a.m. next Saturday at the Chester Kiwanis memorial

    CHESTER — Members of the Chester community and all interested parties are invited to attend the annual 9/11 remembrance on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 9:30 a.m. at the Chester Kiwanis 9/11 Remembrance Memorial in the Village of Chester at the community Park on Vadala Lane. The memorial remembers all, and especially Thomas Dowd, Thomas P. Holohan Jr., Lynne Irene Morris, Paul Ruback and Donald Tuzio — all who lived or grew up in the region served by the Chester Fire District. Members of the religious houses of worship in Chester, the fire department and other emergency responders, service clubs, youth groups and other groups and organizations, as well as all interested persons are invited to participate. Light refreshments will be served at the Walton Engine and Hose Fire Station following the tributes and remembrances.
