Brownies bake 72 pounds of Christmas cookies

Monroe Brownie Troop 704 was among the local Girl Scout troops who made cookies for Christmas dinner guests at Our Father’s Kitchen. The troop and its bakers made about 72 pounds of cookies, and organized them into 24 cookie plates for soup kitchen patrons to take home on Christmas Day. Gathering with their culinary creations are, in the top row, from the left: Madison Kasch, Faith Noonan, Victoria Tondo and Isabella Tondo.
