Assemblywoman Calhoun hosts Monroe-Woodbury student in Albany

Albany - Assemblywoman Nancy Calhoun (R-C-Blooming Grove) introduced Monroe-Woodbury High School senior Brandon Graham during a recent session of the New York State Assembly. Brandon was in Albany for the day to shadow the assemblywoman to learn about New York state politics and the daily work of a state lawmaker. This summer, he will be interning for the Orange County Legislature. “It was a pleasure to have Brandon visit Albany to learn about the kind of work we do in the state Legislature,” said Calhoun. “He is a bright and courteous young man and I am sure that he will succeed in all of his future endeavors. I wish him luck in his pursuit of a career in politics and I would not be surprised if one day he finds himself holding a seat in the New York State Legislature.”
