Todd P. Klipper
Todd Paul Klipper of Monroe succumbed to cancer after a nine-month battle. He died in his home Tuesday, April 24, 2012, surrounded by his family who meant so much to him. Todd was 58 years old.
Son of Adrienne Leblang Klipper and Robert Klipper, he was born June 16, 1953, in New York City.
Todd is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta and completed his masters degree at St. Johns University. He was employed by KPMG in New York City, was a member of the Monroe Temple of Liberal Judaism and loved his time on the Mens Club.
Todd lived a very active life and loved to ski, golf, swim, baseball, was a member of the Monroe Tennis club, as well as local gyms.
Survivors include his wife Lois D. Bernstein Klipper of Monroe; his mother, Adrienne Klipper of West Palm Beach, Fla.; daughters Jennifer Klipper of Poughkeepsie, Brittany Klipper of Napa, California, Laura Greco and her husband Sam of Monroe and Michele Buchner and her husband David of Washington Township, N.J.; his brothers Ken Klipper and his wife Louise of Upper Holland, Pa., and Wayde Klipper and his wife Joanne of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; four grandchildren: Joseph and Nathan Greco and Jacob and Sara Buchner; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27, at The Monroe Temple of Liberal Judaism, 314 North Main St., Monroe. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Middle Hope.
Todds family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc., Monroe Temple, or angelsamongus.org and click on team list to find Klippers Krew to donate to brain cancer research at Duke University.
