Theodore Emanuel Browne

    Theodore Emanuel Browne of Wurtsboro, a printer since graduating high school and a resident of Orange and Sullivan counties since 1986, died Thursday, March 8, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was 76.
    The son of Nathaniel and Celia Browne, he was born Sept. 4, 1941, in the Bronx.
    Ted was a member of numerous train enthusiast and train collector clubs. His home was filled with an abundance of model trains, subway cars and Bronx history books. He loved to share his train layouts with his grandchildren and their friends.
    Survivors include daughters Natalie Browne and her husband, Eben Rockwell Hill of Monroe and Lori Browne of Denver, Colorado; brother Joseph Browne and his wife Cassandra Browne of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Susan Taylor, his fiancée; and granddaughters Charlotte Celia and Addison Ruth.
    He was pre-deceased by his best friend of 70 years, William Streicher.
    Memorial service were held March 9 at the Monroe Temple of Liberal Judaism.
    The family will be sitting Shiva.
    Memorial contributions can be made to Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Center.
