Scott McClennan Sr., a 77-year resident of Highland Mills, New York, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, in Palm Harbor, Florida. He was 80 years old.
The son of Winfield S. and Dorothy H. McClennan, Scott was born on March 11, 1941, in Goshen, New York. He was the widower of Janet M. McClennan.
Scott retired as the Superintendent of the Town of Woodbury Water & Sewer Department. He was a 60-year member and past chief of the Woodbury Fire Department.
Scott loved to fish, travel, collect trains and be surrounded by his family.
Survivors include his children: Scott McClennan Jr. and his wife Mary of Highland Mills, Kristin Curvelo and her husband Ron of Dunedin, Florida, and Tim Merwin of Largo, Florida; brother William S. McClennan of Highland Mills; four grandchildren: Scotty, Joe, Rachel and John; and one great-grandson, Jaxon.
