Matthew F. Salamone

Matthew F. Salamone passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017. He was 63.
The son of Marlow Salamone and Joan Collentine Salamone, he was born in Manhattan on Feb. 25, 1954.
Matthew was an electrician for Local #3 in Manhattan. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
Matthew is survived by his wife Geri Milazzo Salamone at home; his sons Matthew J. Salamone and his wife, Nicole of Goshen; and Joseph Salamone of Nanuet and his fiancée Kristy Doherty; his daughters Vivian Salamone of Newburgh and her companion George Vega; and Nicole Salamone of Monroe; his brother Frank Salamone and his sister Joan Ferranti, both of the Bronx; five grandchildren: Nicholas, Matthew, Adriana, Lyla and Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Oct. 27 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 28 at St. Anastasia Shrine Church in Harriman.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
