Alfred H. Vaccaro

    Alfred H. Vaccaro passed away on April 4, 2023, at his home in Apopka, FL. He was 93 years old. The son of the late Lucille (Caputo) and Joseph Vaccaro, he was born on April 8, 1929, in Bronx, NY.

    Alfred was Operations VP for Charles P. Young Company in New York, NY. He served as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, and he was a member of the Church of St. Anastasia in Harriman, NY before moving to Florida.

    Left to cherish Alfred’s memory are his children: Thomas E. Vaccaro and his wife, Maria, of Pennsauken, NJ; Edward M. Vaccaro and his wife, Teal, of Allendale, NJ; Elizabeth M. Schmidbauer and her husband, James, of Deland, FL; and Kathleen A. Reuter and her husband, Curtis, of Harbeson, DE; as well as 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alfred was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, his son, John T. Vaccaro, and his five siblings.

    Visitation will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Anastasia Church, 110 Route 17M, Harriman, NY. Interment will be at St. Anastasia Cemetery.
