    Graduations Noreen Chambers of Monroe recently graduated from the College of Community and Public Affairs at Binghamton University, State University of New York, with an masters degree in public administration (MPA). Ryan Glover of Highland Mills recently graduated from Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University, State University of New York, with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. Sarah Tusch of Central Valley recently graduated with cum laude honors from the State University of New York at New Paltz and earned her bachelor of arts degree in communication disorders. Sarah is a 2006 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School. Dean’s list Edward Barrett of Monroe has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at SUNY Orange. Vincent Dapolito of Harriman was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., by earning a 4.0 GPA. During the semester, Vincent also completed an internship with ESPN Radio in Hartford, Conn., as a production assistant for “The Back Page,” a live sports talk show. Vincent is a 2008 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School. Maxie S. Kalish of Highland Mills has been named to second honors on the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s). John McDonnell of Highland Mills has been named to the dean’s list for the 2010 fall semester in the Villanova School of Business in Villanova, Pa. He is a sophomore. To qualify for the dean’s list in the Villanova School of Business, one must be a matriculated full-time student and earn a semester grade point average of 3.5, with no missing or non-passing grades. Daniel Monahan of Monroe, a freshman at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass., was named to the dean’s list of 2010-11 fall semester of a GPA of 3.8 average. A finance major, Daniel also was selected to the ECAC Northeast honor roll. A graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School, he is a forward on Western New England’s men’s hockey squad. Alicia Piccininno of Highland Mills, a junior at The College of St. Rose in Albany, was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester 2010. Erich Tusch of Central Valley has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Tufts University in Massachusetts. To qualify, a student must carry a full program and have a quality point average of 3.4 or higher. Erich is currently working toward a double major, one in philosophy and the second in psychology, with a concentration in cognitive and brain science. He is a 2008 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School. Nicole Vasti has been named to the dean’s list at SUNY Oneonta for the fall 2010 semester. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more. Nicole is a 2007 Monroe-Woodbury graduate who is majoring in Math and Secondary Education with a concentration in Math. She is the daughter of Diane and Frank Vasti of Monroe. The following students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.: Shannon Chambers of Monroe, a sophomore and business major. Jake Kim of Monroe, a junior and accountancy major. To be named to the dean’s list, a full-time student must have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher with no course grade below 2.0 during the term.
