Graduation Orrin Fullerton recently received a J.D. degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. He also is a graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie and Warwick Valley High School. He is pursuing a career in corporate law. Fullerton is the son of Basil and Leonie Fullerton of Warwick. Dean’s list The following students were named to the University at Albany’s spring 2010 Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement: Kara Arnowitz of Warwick. Grace Barlet of Warwick. Ryan Florkiewicz of Warwick. Laura Gulfo of Warwick. Shawn Killeen of Warwick. Sean Landrigan of Warwick. Tatiana Peer of Warwick. Alejandra Pereyra of Warwick. Kiowa Pratt-Gordon of Warwick. Stephen Scarpulla of Warwick. Melissa Sciorra of Florida. Ryan Starks of Pine Island. Joshua Tanis of Warwick. Anne Weslowski of Warwick. The following students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2010 semester at Hartwick College in Oneonta: Colleen Moran, a junior from Warwick who is majoring in nursing. At Hartwick, she has participated in honors program and women’s varsity volleyball. Moran is a graduate of Warwick Valley High School. She is the daughter of Donna and James Moran. Carly Ramos, a sophomore from Warwick who is majoring in nursing. A graduate of Warwick Valley High School, she is the daughter of Anne and Wilbert Ramos. Timothy Sattler, a junior from Warwick who is majoring in environmental chemistry. At Hartwick, he has participated in honors program, men’s varsity cross country, and fly fishing club. Sattler is a graduate of Warwick Valley High School. He is the son of Deborah and Edward Sattler. Inclusion on Hartwick’s Dean List is an indication of excellent academic work, including the completion of a full course load with at least a 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale. Matthew Laroe of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2010 semester at SUNY Oneonta. Ana Ramos of Warwick has been cited for academic achievement for the Spring 2010 Semester at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi. Ramos, majoring in Liberal Arts - Social Science, has qualified for the Dean’s List. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must have an academic average between 3.50 and 4.0. Scholarships and awards SUNY Oswego has awarded merit scholarships to more than 650 incoming students, including Nicholas R. Salamone of Distillery Road in Warwick. Salamone received a $2,000 Merit Award. The award recognizes past academic achievement and potential for success. He has reserved a place in the incoming freshman class for the fall semester. Classes will begin Aug. 30. The awards recognize students’ past academic achievements and potential for success.
