MONROE — Paula and Jack Callanan were married July 14, 1962, in Queen of Angels Church in Sunnyside, Queens. They raised their two daughters in Monroe: Phyllis Pisarchick, currently of Macedonia, Ohio, and Cristine Callanan of Monroe. And they could not be more proud of their two grandchildren - Amanda and Will. In fact, their license plate reads: “Happiness is being a grandparent.” Every kid should be so lucky to have parents like them. Paula and Jack Callanan are the two of the most “in love” people you could ever meet. They still go out on dinner dates every Friday night and traded in their cruises for winters on the beach in St. Augustine, Fla. Congratulations, Paula and Jack Callanan, on your 50th anniversary.
